Isn't that like a local nightly thing on Manor? There are lots of cars they can use fuel :D

Seriously I would like to pop along. Got some effergies to burn!

What are the fireworks like there and is it usually busy? If its the car park im thinking of I am guessing its closest to the Ramblers Inn and not the Nags then.

Chesterfield's Firework Night at Stand Road Recreation Ground

For people who live in the south of Sheffield you may wish to consider travelling the short journey to Chesterfield as there's a free fireworks display held by the council. The only bad thing is there's no bonfire.

Entertainment will be provided by Peak FM with Shaun and Becky.

Gates open at 6 pm, entertainment will run from 6 pm until 9 pm with the firework display at 7.30 pm.

There's parking at the bnet stadium Chesterfield Football Club, 1866 Sheffield Road, S41 8LF, £3, 6p.m. to 9p.m. There may be other free parking options around I'm not sure.

Just google 'chesterfield fireworks' and it'll be the first link. Apparently I can't post links yet as this is my first post!
