It is all free today.

 

Plenty of 20p parking nearby on weekdays.

No, it's much later I think. Probably 9:30. You can regularly see people sat in their cars on the section between newbould lane and glossop road, from 10 or 15 minutes earlier (and so ready to move if caught), waiting for 9:30, so they can then leave their car. It gets very busy.

 

I think the section near the botanical gardens is the same. It's regarded as a main commuting route, hence the restrictions up to 9:30.

 

I think Endcliffe vale road is free parking, and not restricted (but I'm not absolutely certain). I think it does get busy, though.

If you are visiting the gardens you can park through the wrought iron gates on a service

road accessed via Thompson Road.

Avoid Rutland Park, Southbourne Road and Westbourne Road, if you're wanting free parking. There are three schools on those roads, and the problems we have with parking to drop kids off are ridiculous. The roads are all resident only, save for a few little sections.

 

I believe that after a certain time, Clarkehouse Road and Brocco Bank are free, but not sure what the time is. There are some roads such as Endcliffe Vale Road that have free areas.

 

Good luck! The wardens are very keen, so do be careful!
