google skymap

google map navigation (turns it into a satnav using google maps)

bebbled (ace jewl game)

air control (land planes)

abduction (get a bouncing cow upwards!)

daft machine (if you like daft punk)

moron test (see if you're a moron)

papastacker (stack stuff)

I have never paid for an app, the above are all free in basic form, some have versions you can pay for if you like it.

Loads of free good ones on Android, but it depends what you want, good apps to me will probably be different to what you want.

For me Myplayer is an amazing app, lets you access Iplayer, stream and download on any network, over 3g or wifi.

But then again things like root explorer are very useful, and my usenet client, but these are probably not the apps your after.

For a fun game, try Alchamy.

The one I really want is Scrabble (proper). Had it for the last year on my Xpress music and played 300 games in that time. Not sure if I can live without it now :S

I've got it on my Galaxy S - think it should be available for yours too?

However, Word Feud is better because you can play against real opponents - either random or friends. Its turn based so you get a notification whenever its your turn to play.
