Hairyloon   10 #9 Posted September 22, 2010 more info: The Laptop seems to just make a clicking sound no boot up at all. Could it be the HARD DRIVE needs replacing. Normally hard drive failure would give an error message on the screen.  Any other clicks or whirs? Do any lights come on? Try removing the battery, then try again. CAn you test the power supply?
