toodlepip   10 #1 Posted September 21, 2010 I had surgery in my mouth 11 years ago due to have a cyst in my jaw.  I was wondering even though it was 11 years ago is there any chance that my jaw could just fracture or break? I've been having some pain around that area tonight and i am worried about it.
 Share this content via...
Halibut   12 #2 Posted September 21, 2010 As an intelligent layman, I'd guess the answer has to be yes, there is a possibilty. but you really ought to go and talk to your GP, or better still the surgeon who did the work for you. norks   10 #3 Posted September 21, 2010 I doubt very much the jaw would just fracture or break of its own accord but as Halibut says there is a possibility, was it a fleshy cyst they removed? was it actually attached to the jaw? There could be any number of reasons for jaw pain so if you're woried i'd book in to see your Doctor
 Share this content via...
