koollady142 Â Â 10 #2 Posted June 17, 2010 We recently went to Sutton on Sea, near Mablethorpe. Not much there but fabulous beaches and lots of peace & quiet. We found a site with pub, what more could you ask for?? Otherwise Masham in North Yorkshire, Black Swann Inn have a camp site, cheap, pub on site and stuning scenery
 Share this content via...
Shinzou   10 #3 Posted June 17, 2010 the Edale or Hathersage campsites are always a good bet, its easy to get to by train and plenty of places to walk. Not sure how busy they will be this weekend though.
 Share this content via...
kungfugerbil   10 #4 Posted June 17, 2010 Hi  I am looking for somewere to go camping for a long weekend any ideas?  Thanks  France. New Zealand is lovely.  You probably need to supply a bit more info as to distance, what you want to do, if you need public transport etc...  If you fancy somewhere about half hour away from sheff, this place is great:  http://www.barnfarmcamping.com/  Two cracking boozers withing staggering distance and gorgeous scenery
 Share this content via...

Bod123 Â Â 10 #6 Posted June 17, 2010 Used to go to Shell island in the 1980's, always used to be fun. Haven't been for ages though so I wouldn't know if it was any good now. Â Recently went here though, and this is great, only about 1.5 hours away. Â http://www.bobbybee.co.uk/
 Share this content via...
