Electric shock from tram tracks?

Today i had a small but painful electric shock while crossing tram tracks in town, I just wounded if anyone else has experienced this??

I didn't until today, It was the bit of track where lloyds tsb in town (bottom of fargate) is a tram had gone past and was at the tram stop a little up from where I crossed.

I think if you had an electric shock from tram current, you would not be able to tell us about it. I expect it was a nerve twitch, or your imagination.

I can ashore you it want a nerve twitch or my imagination. As I said it was only a small one.

I get static shocks off my car door all the time... they hurt like hell!!! :o
