Rainrescue   10 #7 Posted September 9, 2010 Oh how sad - Have you phoned the council again? All the strays get taken there if picked up. Plus, if she's chipped then hopefully any vet would be able to scan her and get her back to you.  Put posters up everywhere - thats usually the best way of getting her returned. Also - phone all the boarding kennels - maybe someone has mentioned seeing on to someone there.  good luck
 Share this content via...
Strix   11 #8 Posted September 9, 2010 ring the council/wardens daily, and get yourself down to the kennels to check  sometimes the description of a crossbreed isn't accurate enough to be certain they don't have your dog!
 Share this content via...
dmkennedy10 Â Â 10 #9 Posted September 9, 2010 thanks, we keep ringing wardens and kennels and rspca daily, weve got posters up and weve rang 101 also, petlog av put a signal out for her to let all kennels etc know, she is chipped so hope someone rings the warden so they can scan her and get her back home to us, we go out looking every day, were desperate to get her back :'(, the dog wardens dont seem to care they told us unless someone has the dog they dont go looking for them anymore
 Share this content via...
Strix   11 #10 Posted September 9, 2010 unfortunately, the dog wardens are swamped already  I really hope you find your dog  this isn't going to be pleasant, but you should also contact streetforce - as they have no obligation to notify the wardens (or you) if your dog is collected from an rta or similar  there's a national campaign to make scanning for chips a legal requirement as this is currently only required if a dog is hit on a motorway
 Share this content via...
