maxwell1   10 #337 Posted August 29, 2011 hiya maxwell, I stick to my point, a bloke who thought he saw something and can't be traced (assassinated? is that the presumption?)  No presumption, just a stated fact no one has managed to speak to him,   isn't evidential in any real sense - what about all the other people who were nearby, where is their evidence, a thousand people would be notable but not 1. Mr haslam may have been drnk, on lsd, schizophrenic, whatever.  He was on his way home from work, the full police log has hundreads of mysterious calls to the police. At least two people on this thread said they saw it.   and if triangular UFOs which defy the laws of physics are scooting around the world in very close proximity to densely populated areas, there would be than a few sightings.  Frank, hundreads of thousands of people world wide have seen them. Colonel Charles Halt, memo re: RAF Bentwaters Incident.  Reply to atin. of: CD Subject: Unexplained Lights (13 Jan 81) To: RAF/CC  1. Early in the morning of 27 Dec 80 (approximately 0300L) two USAF security police patrolmen saw unusual lights outside the back gate at RAF Woodbridge. Thinking an aircraft might have crashed or been forced down, they called for permission to go outside the gate to investigate.... The individuals reported seeing a strange glowing object in the forest. The object was described as being metallic in appearance and triangular in shape, approximately two to three meters across the base and approximately two meters high. It illuminated the entire forest with a white light. The object itself had a pulsing red light on top and a bank(s) of blue lights underneath. The object was hovering or on legs. As the patrolmen approached the object it maneuvered through the trees and disappeared. At this time the animals on a nearby farm went into a frenzy. The object was briefly sighted approximately an hour later near the back gate.  2. The next day, three depressions 1 1/2" deep and 7" in diameter were found where the object had been sighted on the ground. The following night (29 Dec 80) the area was checked for radiation. Beta/Gamma readings of 0.1 milliroentgens were recorded with peak readings in the three depressions and near the center of the triangle formed by the three depressions. A nearby tree had moderate (0.05 - 0.07) readings on the side of the tree facing towards the three depressions.  3. Later in the night a red sun-like object was seen through the trees. It moved about and pulsed. At one point it appeared to throw off glowing particles and then broke into five separate white objects and disappeared. Immediately thereafter, three star like objects were noticed in the sky, two objects to the north and one to the south, all of which were about 10 degrees off of the horizon. The objects moved rapidly in sharp, angular movements and displayed red, green and blue lights. The objects to the north appeared to be elliptical through 8-10 power lens. They then turned to full circles. The objects in the north remained in the sky for an hour or more. The object to the south was visible for two to three hours and beamed down a stream of light from time to time. Numerous individuals, including the undersigned, witnessed the activities in paragraphs 2 and 3.  Charles Halt (signed) Charles I. Halt. web1   10 #338 Posted August 29, 2011 And looking back over the history of this thread Tony, you eyes and ears were (and indeed still remain it would seem) curiously more attentive than most.  So why exactly is that, out of interest?  The archaeologist  I believe Tony is only wanting to see what the op claims he has found, i too would be intrigued to see the photographic evidence, then maybe further intellectual discussions can take place with everyone knowing exactly what has been found, rather than just using our imaginations and bouncing theories around. Myself i am a believer, and am of the opinion that it cant be only 1 grain of sand on the entire beach to hold life, I also think there is a possibility life could have been planted here on earth and that maybe they are thee scientists revisiting there project. Would still love to see the op post the photos....if only to stump Tony.
 Share this content via...

maxwell1   10 #342 Posted August 29, 2011 there might have been a plane crash, there was no triangular UFO because they don't exist, there was, more likely, a helicopter  Frank, your wrong about the flying triangles and during the course of this thread I have produced testimony from senior military people. Actual links to the RADAR footage from the Belgium incident. Credible testimony from proffessional observers, police RAF officers. They are all wrong and you are right? Are you suggesting that a senior Belgian military commander went on national television with the evidence. Made a full public disclosure of what happened. And he is also wrong as you are right?  A number of people on this thread have said that they either saw the Triangle craft either that night or on other occassions are they wrong or is everybody else. drunk, mad, daft an idiot. AS YOU ARE RIGHT?  Where I come from that sounds like a serious possibly fatal case of. Inexplacata   10 #344 Posted August 29, 2011 That in itself is tautology. But    … is not tautology.  Honestly, give someone a PhD and they think they know it all.  Drake's equation is utter speculation whatever you feed into it, and until you show me some extra terrestrial life this is the only inhabited planet to date.  Considering the rarity of inhabited planets (one so far, amongst billions), this planet is significant whichever way you choose to look at it.  So far as I-and many others it would seem-understand things, Drake's equation was basically no more than an idle piece of speculative fun as opposed to being intended as a profound theory. In relation to your comments concerning this humble ball of rock we call Earth and the gob-smacking diversity of unique life resident upon it, you are bang on. Irrespective of what other life forms might exist beyond the boundary of our planet, what both lived and still lives both upon and beneath the surface of this world have been the direct result of their abilities to adapt to the existing environment(s) of the time and as a consequence have made this rich pageantry of flora and fauna unique to our world at any given point during its inhabited history. If we consider this as a reasonably acceptable argument then we can of course extend the same conditions and circumstances to any other inhabited planet within the known -or indeed still unknown- universe and suggest with equally reasonable conviction that life on any other planet (be that life microscopic, sentient or even hyper-intelligent) will, under the same circumstances, be totally unique. So, if life on Earth is to be considered insignificant -as one or two on this forum have intimated-then by the same token every other potential life form within the universe must also be deemed as insignificant.  The archaeologist
 Share this content via...

My path is the same as every openminded believer, sir, Its almost impossible for them not to exist, however hard it is to prove they dont.
