Does anyone know what ikke hentet non reclame might mean please?  have looked for a translation website but can't find one that will work for me!!! cgksheff   44 #3 Posted September 5, 2005 I think that you have two languages here.  Ikke hentet - ikke is the norwegian negative i.e. "not" and hentet is the past tense of hente "to fetch or bring" It could mean just "not delivered" although a reverse translation does not give the same result!   and  Non reclame - is French for "not claimed". mjlacey21   10 #4 Posted September 5, 2005 Thanks for your help- I'm glad the post office have only told me that it was not delivered. There's no way I could have worked that out for myself having had it returned!
 Share this content via...

Grim   10 #6 Posted September 5, 2005 reclame could be misspellt reklame , ie adverts... ikke hentet means 'not picked up'. In norway you can stop unsolicited advertisements by post and phone, like here, so it could have been misinterpreted as a spam mailing?
