michelley   10 #1 Posted August 11, 2010 Hey,  Im looking to go to Tenerife at the end of march beginning of April. Has anyone ever been at that time of year? Could you tell me how warm it was in the day and in the evening?  Thanks
 Share this content via...
xfox3x   10 #2 Posted August 11, 2010 (edited) We've been in January and March and it was boiling hot both times! We had temps of 26-28. I've also been to the Canaries (Fuerteventura) in August and it was suffocating...so unless you're a REAL sunworshipper I'm sure the dates you are thinking of will be fine! artisan   10 #4 Posted August 11, 2010 It is always good out there, You are nearly in the Tropics. You have to have really bad luck to have bad weather. Every time I go I never want to come back. The Canaries bring out the hippy in me. I could become a beach bum and live in an igloo forever.
 Share this content via...
xfox3x   10 #5 Posted August 11, 2010 No it was very warm...there are some sites that will give you the average temps per month. http://www.holiday-weather.com/tenerife/averages/  It does show lower temps, but I can remember the street signs showing the temps and the sheer heat of the day! artisan   10 #6 Posted August 11, 2010 my first memory of the Canaries was in the early seventies.  Mid November. Floating on my back in a swimming pool outdoor and unheated. Go there any time. They are the Atlantic version of the pacific Hawiia. You can almost guarantee it. I would recomend Fuertaventura, the desert island. Loads of places to see, and still not contiminated. chimay   10 #7 Posted August 11, 2010 It can get a bit windy and a bit cloudy. But the temperature is in the mid to high 20's. We went one May and on a couple of evenings after hot days the temperature did seem a bit chilly but we still sat outside all evening.
