Thanks Becky!

Not sure about this, but can't people view group pages even if they are not a member on fb?

I am in the same boat as a lot of you. Moved here 3 years ago for a change, chose Sheffield as my friend went to uni here but after uni she moved to Bakewell and then back 'home' so am here on my own. I have requested to join the group and look forward to meeting up with everyone.

Hi everyone.

Was browsing tonight, searching for ways of meeting new people and just happened to cross this SheffieldForum thread.

Im possibly up for some of these events that have been planned. Im guessing anyone is still welcome to join in ? Im a Sheffield born male, in my 30's - lived the last 10 years on an island and moved back a year ago. Always struggled making friends and meeting people, but trying to be a bit more proactive, try and meet people by different methods.

I noticed a facebook group formed recently, am I welcome to join that and get in on things?

Thanks for reading folks :)
