Snake in the eagles shadow - Jackie Chan I watched it years ago it was the original all in chinese I think with english subtitles it was one of the best films Ive seen

 

Has anyone else seen it?

Le Grande Illusion, from Jean Renoir (son of the painter)! It was made in like the 30s but it feels really modern to me--some of the shots remind me of Spielberg and it has a sense of character that a lot films from that era miss. Plus it's got Erich von Stroheim in it, a guy who always seems kind of tragic and fascinating to me.
