Where do you do your weekly shop

Meat from the butchers, fruit and veg from the greengrocers everything else from Morrisons.

 

Meat from the supermarket (even the more up-market ones) is rubbish compared to that of a good butcher.

 

The same goes for fruit and veg, the stuff from the supermarket is insipid and tasteless compared to stuff from a decent greengrocer.

I shop at Netto (just down the road from my house) - for essentials.....and when I know I can avoid the long queues at the check-out!

 

I often shop at Somerfield in the city centre, as it's dead handy when I'm in town.

 

Tonight I caught the bus to Woodseats, where I shopped at Tesco, then walked to Spar for a few things, and then walked up the hill to Morrisons to complete my shopping trip.

 

When I'm out and about in Arbourthorne or Heeley Green, I shop at the Co-op!

 

When staying with my partner in Hull, I shop at the nearby Sainsburys.

 

Only go to Waitrose 10 mins before closing time - to see what bargains can be had! Otherwise, it's too expensive for shopping.

 

Gotcha! Saw you in Tesco, Infirmary Road last week - not only did you not say hello, you haven't mentioned it on your list!

 

That is where I do my weekly shop - and I have seen other Forumers in there too.

That is where I do my weekly shop - and I have seen other Forumers in there too.

 

I shop there usually, on a Thursday or Friday evening. Venue for the next forum meet: aisle 3, near the milk

I shop at sainsburys, seen as its only a short walk from where I'm living in Manchester... haven't found where any other big shops are yet close to me... I know theres an Asda 2 train stops away... bugger that... and I know roughly where an Aldi is which I keep meaning to go to but haven't yet... lol
