Barron Knights, and many more, went to see Tommy Cooper but he didn't turn up! The compere Tony White was brill....Fantastic atmosphere - and chicken in a basket too! xenia   11 #9 Posted July 26, 2010 He died in 1995, of leukemia. after he retired from showbiz he opened a cleaning company in Las Vegas were they specialised in preparing buildings offices etc for new occupants. He was brilliant live. But never seemed to be able to transfer this to recored. Went with a friend and her husband to see Lovelace Watkins,,,,,anybody know what happened to him?!!!! I remem:Dber going to see Martin St James the hypnotist and he made the guys on stage do the chicken and washing machine.
