Ecclesall wood biking

Hi there,

 

I've recently taken up mountain biking, and saw a video on youtube with a jump in eccy woods, just wondered if anyone knows where this jump is? I've been through eccy woods a few times now but i cant seem to find it.

Sure it was Eccy woods? There's some other woods nearby with whole sets of jumps in and a thriving dirt jump scene. They used to get destroyed by the council but they seem to be more relaxed about it now as long as it stays in that locality and doesn't spread. Works of art they are.

You need to go to Wharncliffe, that's Steve Peats stomping ground, good DH, and a jump section...Check out Urban Extremists website, it's the team I ride with, we do alls orts of riding..have just got back from the Alps as 3 of the lads rode in Mega Avalanche....contact Trev via website to see when we're next riding at Wharney...
