American researchers found this could be due to the phytochemicals - naturally occurring antioxidants - that grapes contain.

 

 

Could you give the reference please? Interesting post but when I saw this sentence alarm bells sounded. As far as i know there is no evidence that antioxidants have any beneficial effect in humans.
