katieu   10 #1 Posted July 1, 2010 I drive a 53 plate fiesta, there's a knocking like noise when I drive.  Today i've been for my tracking checked thinking this might be the problem, it was a bit out and it's been reset but the noise is still there.  I've been told it's my wheel bearing that needs replacing, any idea how much this should cost? katieu   10 #4 Posted July 1, 2010 It's definatley something wheel related, as it speeds up with acceleration.  Think i'm gonna take it to the garage i normally go to as they're decent guys there.
 Share this content via...
dazaston   10 #5 Posted July 1, 2010 If its a wheel bearing the noise usually quietens down on cornering as weight is transfered from the side of the worn bearing. The sound of a bearing is a sort of woo woo woo woo noise.A fiesta wheel bearing usually dosnt cost much either depending if its front or rear.
