Moonbird   10 #1 Posted June 27, 2010 I just had to share this with you because it's really funny (well I thought so).  Last night I decided to do my furniture with some good deodoriser as the dogs lay on the furniture and I hate doggy smells, so I sent Dave and the dogs off upstairs to bed whilst I got to grips with the job.  This morning I was woken by Daddy Dave (as the dogs call him...yes I know oh well ) desperately calling me from downstairs, he said come and see this you've got to see this, he wouldn't tell me what it was, so fearing something terrible had happened I rushed down....to find everything just as I left it  The cushions from the settee had been taken off sprayed then stood up and left to air, the leather settee is on a wooden frame and the leather part lifts off like a massive heavy pad, I had taken that off and turned it upside down spraying the fabric underside and left it upside down to air.....the plonker actually thought that my cat Daisy had done all of this all by herself...because he saw her stood on the cushions stretching ok it doesn't sound so funny written out but OMG it was hilarious this morning
 Share this content via...

lyndix   10 #9 Posted June 28, 2010 hahahahaha!! men are sooo daft arn`t they??:hihi: Almost as bad as what I faced yesterday. After the football finished I took all the kids down to my mums so we could all have a splash about in the pool, leaving my OH alone in the house with Amber and Custard. (nothing strange there) When I came back the whole house was trashed(and I mean TRASHED) and he was looking pretty frantic. He took me to one sideand explained that he couldn`t find Custard and had literally turned the house(every single room) upside down looking for her for the last hour and half. I was sure he must`ve left the door open at some point (her only being 9 weeks old must stay in) but he swore he hadn`t, he was almost hysterical knowing he was gonna get the blame. I go upstairs armed with her dish, a food pouch, fork and some kitten biscuit things, rattled it about for 30 seconds and a very sleepy looking Custard slowly emerged from under loads of clothes in a cupboard, said hello and promptly stuffed her fat little face. Why didn`t he do that instead of destroying the house??:hihi:
 Share this content via...

Went out looking in the garden..nope, increased the search to include most of my Road and all of the next, knocking on doors the lot, plus making myself look like a total nutter by eventually bursting into tears through the frustration and worry in front of someone on the next Road Eventually it was dark and we didn't know what to do so came home, I decided to call again and hey presto a sleepy welcoming little Rosie came stretching and miowing out of the "previously searched" coalhouse...I felt such a flippin fool, but was never more pleased to see her than at that moment
 Share this content via...
