England v Germany on Sunday

Recommended Posts

Please let it be on the BBC. Anything to escape ITVs amatuerish coverage.

I agree- the ITV coverage has been very poor. I expected better from them since Adrian Chiles defected, but no.

The pundits are poor (one being Gareth Southgate- someone who was responsible for a world cup exit) and Adrian trying to be funny just makes you want to switch off.

England haven't got a prayer against a 'proper' team.

Strange that there was none of this petty nationalism in 1966 when we'd got a lot of fans who'd actually fought in the war

There were ten German bombers in the air,

There were ten German bombers in the air,

There were ten German bombers, Ten German bombers,

There were ten German bombers in the air,

And the RAF from England shot one down,

And the RAF from England shot one down,

And the RAF from England, The RAF from England,

And the RAF from England shot one down,

Will any grown ups be going to watch the game?

Come on England, lets build on lastnights much improved performance and take the game to 'em on sunday. We can do it we've just gotta believe. So everyone get ya flags out, fly 'em with pride and come kick off on sunday let the roar from this country drown out every bloody vuvuzela in south africa! COME ON ENGLAND

Dont care who wins this one seeing as im part english and part german :hihi:

Would be nice to see england win though.....

I'm not part German but ties with Germany mean that I usually consider them to be my adoptive team, so although I want England to win, I'll be fine if Germany do.

My brother's over there at the moment with his German partner on a regular family visit, and will probably be the only one on their street supporting England on Sunday.:hihi:

I doubt it, if you'd lost family in the war you'd be a bit more respectful about it.

Just concentrate on cheering on England until you loose you voice, like I will.

That's the point I'm making though, it wasn't family that you've ever met, like a dad, brother or uncle.
