Sheffield word

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know the origin or indeed absolutely anything about the word scrorm?

Is it as I believe only used in Sheffield?

I would use the word in place of the more used "creep ".

i.e.

"I can't grab the cat.He scrormed under the couch"

Help is needed folks,as always people here dont know what the hell I'm talking about.

(No bad thing actually)

I can remember being told when I was little the stop scroaming about i.e. underneath the table or in the yard etc. I would say its another word for crawling about and annoying people at the same time!
