Aitor   10 #1 Posted June 7, 2010 Hi mates!!  I'm a student from Barcelona and I'm coming to study in Sheffield the next course. My girlfriend is also comming with me and we have thought to rent a 1 bed apartment in sheffield for the whole course. When is the best time to come to sheffield to view the apartments? June? July?August?  We've thought that maybe in june there are still people living in the apartments and therefore maybe i's not the best time...  Thank you for your attention!!!!  Aitor
 Share this content via...

Aitor   10 #3 Posted June 9, 2010 Plenty of empty flats all year round to be honest - so get looking and haggle hard.  You mean to haggle directly with the Estate Agency? For example: I 'll only pay 50 pounds less per month for this flat.  or you mean to visit a lot of agencys gathering a lot of information and then to decide for the one I prefer?  How do you recommend me to act?  Thank you Tomataheed! ashanta67 Â Â 10 #4 Posted June 9, 2010 Aitor, yep, there's usually apartments all year round but it can take ages to find something suitable at the right price. I assume you have somewhere to stay for a few weeks while you look - it can take weeks and there is always lots of paperwork - i.d., credit checks etc. Â Renting privately is less hassle and cheaper - you may find something on here. Â Buena suerte... Â Ashanta
 Share this content via...

Is this few time? When you say privately you mean to rent the apartment directly to the landlord, don't you?  Do you know any effective webside?  Sorry for so much questions but I'm quite disorientated and every word you write will be useful.  Thanks Again !!!  Aitor
 Share this content via...

I'd just search for lots of flats on Rightmove, check the location is what you want - search/ask on here for advice on specific developments. There are a bunch of guys here in Sheffield that I work with from India and they often move flats for a cheaper one each 6-12 months -there is always a cheaper one as landlords have a lot of voids. Aitor   10 #7 Posted June 11, 2010 The best job search happens when you are happily working already, are not desperate, and don't have to switch jobs.  The best job candidates are those who are happy in their current position and are therefore relaxed when they interview for jobs.  The worst job candidates are those who are desperate to get a new job and show their desperation during interviews. Hiring managers can smell desperation. No one wants to hire someone desperate.  Nice Reflexion Superkevin!!!  But I think we werw talkin about renting an apartment!!! Was it metaphora?  Thank you anyway!!!!
 Share this content via...
