I have heard that Google is being sneaky and looking at details held by nominet.

How is that sneaky?

Interesting and it makes absolute sense that they do this.

I'll monitor links from my sister sites closely in Google webmaster tools; thanks for the input.

Again any feedback will be appreciated - especially if you see any errors

Cheers

Any plans to make it more mobile responsive?

We have done the first pass at mobile friendly - taken 8 months to get it to a suitable standard to make live, and it still needs more work.

We are going to do another new site shortly www.waleslodges.uk

You have one issue that you might not think is an issue....the 3 bar "burger" nav on mobile view

The last site replatforming I was involved with included mobile & tablet responsive layout and the menu went into the "burger" menu

Everyone knows what the menu icon is and looks like, right?

We had some feedback that we thought at first was silly - "where's the menu?" - it's there of course! But we put the text "MENU" next to the burger icon. On a commerce site, looking at mobile devices, page views, time on site, pages viewed all improved dramatically. People didn't know what the 3 bars were and didn't know how to navigate.
