Did you have a school hymn?

Recommended Posts

I was at Hinde House between 65 and 73 but his name doesn't ring any bells as for the schools there are numerous threads about it and it's headmaster Mr Edwards on this forum.

Was at King Teds in the 60s. Think most of us can remember the first verse after all you did have it stuck to your hymn book. Yes it's easy in hindsight to call it 'crap' but always found it quite stirring in assembly with Norman Barnes at the organ and Fat Nat's cheery countenance

Was at KES in 70s. Wasn't that where JK Rowling got the idea for Hogwarts? All those mortar boards and gowns flapping about. Not sure who Snape was modelled on but Mr Jackson seems a fair bet.
