Anyone fancying joining us, but feel 8+ miles is too much, then the shortened 4 1/2 mile alternative walk may tempt you to join us! There will be at least 6 of us following the shorter route
 Share this content via...

scoobz   10 #10 Posted May 23, 2010 Well that was great today, despite the hot weather! 17 people turned up, including two newbies, and enjoyed some fantastic scenery and great company.
 Share this content via...
Hemlock   10 #11 Posted May 24, 2010 Was too hot for me. When we were walking back to the car, all the people sunbathing & generally messing about by the river was worse than being on Blackpool beach!! Where do they all come from? Lighting prtable BBQs on the grass, cans of lager strewn everywhere, socks littered all over the place..... awful!! Enjoyed the company of the shamblers though - & welcome to the 2 newbies!
