wednesday1 Â Â 10 #253 Posted May 7, 2010 I think he might allow someone else to, if Labour do hold sway. Â Â Step forward Alan Johnson! Â Feel very sorry for Gordy though with the unjustified vilification he has had to endure by the Tory press.
 Share this content via...

JFKvsNixon   11 #255 Posted May 7, 2010 I think he might allow someone else to, if Labour do hold sway.  The country wouldn't stand for a second Labour leader in a row who didn't fight a general election as leader.
 Share this content via...
Br8inend   10 #256 Posted May 7, 2010 I'll not send the bailiffs round for the stake money though  I must say, that was a very defeatist speech from Brown there, mind you.  It may have finally dawned on him that everything he touch's turns to kak. Kingmaker2 Â Â 10 #262 Posted May 7, 2010 The country wouldn't stand for a second Labour leader in a row who didn't fight a general election as leader. Â I somehow can't see riots in the streets over the issue, so if Labour install Harriet Harman or Balls or Milliband as new PM in the event of a hung paliament, I doubt there's much that can be done to change things.
