boyfriday   21 #1 Posted May 5, 2010 Has anyone seen the very bold flagpole in the garden of a property at the beginning of Whiteley Wood Road in S11?  At first I only noticed the St George flag and Union Jack, other times I've seen flags of other nations, and this morning it was flying the Polish flag.  This is either a true internationalist or a patriot who lost their way!  If nothing else it demonstrates that the council/police/PC Brigade have no issue with the flying of flags, despite the misplaced indignation of some
 Share this content via...
straylight_r   10 #2 Posted May 5, 2010 I haven't seen this specific one but I have seen various others around. My parents neighbour flies a variety of different flags which I'm told has something to do with the Grand Prix (I don't know why though). He's been doing this for about 15 years and to my knowledge no one has objected.
 Share this content via...
