Linny   10 #25 Posted May 1, 2010 Had many happy hours there - me and friends Jane & Liz. Jane & I used to share an attic flat on Shirebrook Road, just past Heeley Bridge. Quite a long stagger home after Buccaneer - Wap - Nelson, but we were young and managed it easy !! We hung out with a great crowd - shame we all lost touch - the music never left though. Happy happy days...
 Share this content via...

GUZZIOWL Â Â 10 #31 Posted May 1, 2010 There was a real underground movement in Sheffield back then. Just about every pub you went in, Buccaneer, Nelson, Albert, or even the Whetstone had loads of alternative music playing. Amon Duul ..Faust ..Gong..PFM.. anyone remember 'em........ 40summat   10 #33 Posted May 1, 2010 Was it Pippy's?  It was indeed Pippy's, I sold them my old bike jacket after buying a new one from Lewis Leathers up the Moor. I went back a week later and bought it back as i couldn't be parted from it.  They sold those puzzle rings that never went back together again after you undid em.
