Classic car shows list

have to agree with r1 there, loads of shows lose lots of exhibitors due to the age cut off thing, some are really strict about it when surely theres room for the more "modern classics" or newer vehicles of interest? Some people seem all too quick to write off cars that aren't "vintage classics" if you like, lets not forget, for example a 1980 Ford Capri is now knocking on 30 years old, and how can anyone dispute a Capri being a classic car?

Weds, 9 June evening show at Renishaw Hall. Huge variety of cars and bikes with all proceeds in aid of charity.

 

Anyone know if this is still going ahead? As it's a bit wet out there!!

Renishaw did go ahead despite the wet conditions!

It was great to catch up with old friends,as well as making some new contacts.

Don't forget Beighton Gala 10th July 2010, still room for more classics and interesting vehicles.

We have to have a cut off point. What year do you think it should be?

 

I would say anything over 20 years old, others would say 25 years. These are probably the two most common dates used to denote a car as a classic.

 

As other have said who can deny a Capri is a not a classic?
