Although it's sad to lose them, when they've had long, happy lives with good health and no really severe illness before popping their little clogs then it's somehow easier to let them go isn't it?

 

I sometimes think that the stresses of visiting the vet can be almost as harmful as the illnesses, especially for very small animals.

Went through the same with "Rogue" my wifes hammy, he just got tired towards the end and passed away very peacefully. You have my deepest sympathy.
