andyofborg   11 #28 Posted April 16, 2010 It's not a group of people. It's lots of groups. And like I said - science is heading more towards the belief that celtic was just a form of design.  there certainly was more to the celtic people than their beautiful artwork. DragonofAna   10 #34 Posted April 16, 2010 it was more than just a period of art history are you a catholic?  So you are saying that historians and archaeologists are wrong - considering that they are referring more and more to the celtic times as being along the lines of the art deco age? Alien   10 #35 Posted April 16, 2010 "Sheffield’s Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) population currently accounts for 15.5% of Sheffield residents, compared to just 8% in 2001." http://www.inspiresheffield.co.uk/about_sheffield/multicultural_sheffield/  The percentage of Sheffields BME people has nearly doubled in less than ten years.  So in 2021 the percentage could be 30%, then in 2031 it could be 60%.  Personally i find this concerning; not because i have anything against non white people, but wouldn't it be sad if the indigenous people of Sheffield became the minority?   Does this mean as the percentages rise I may turn Black?  Does it really matter? It's not as if you're gonna turn a funny colour all of a sudden....honest!
 Share this content via...
millhouses24   10 #36 Posted April 16, 2010 You're all a bit ignorant about history, I'm afraid.  First we had the Celts, primitive savages who had blue markings on them. Picture below:  http://www.nufcblog.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/sheffield-wednesday-fan.jpg  Then we had the Romans invade:  http://www.costumzee.com/users/Nightdub90-257-full.gif  I'm not sure what happened next
 Share this content via...
