Police Cordon off area at McDonalds next to Castle College

Recommended Posts

Drove past corner where McDonalds meets (Farm Rd?) at about 11.30 this morning.. about 9 police cars, police tape and cameras. Does anyone know what happened? Saw a bag and stuff on the side of the road in the area that was cordoned off... Hope it wasn't serious.

It was still closed off about 1215, as we came past.

It must have been something quite "interesting" going on, as the idiot in the car in front of us seemed so enthralled he let the lights change to green three times before he could bring himself to tear himself away from staring at the cop-cars, and drive on. (yes, you, you cretin, in the white cinquecento, it's you I'm talking to!)

I hope it wasn't anything really bad.

saw the poor bugger on my way to a job, leg in one of those red splints and one of the paramedics was holding a drip he was hooked up to.

Hope he's ok, it did look rather serious.
