Sharrow Vale's very own Community Market is to be held on Sunday 22nd November between 12-4pm!

Sharrow Vale Road will be closed from Hunter's Bar to Cowlishaw Road, with stalls lining the road, local specialist shops open and activities such as face painting to keep the kids amused.

Come along and get Christmas presents early or just sample a selection of local produce, crafts, gifts, food and much much more!

For more information, or if you are wanting to have a stall on the day message me, or find us on Facebook!

Organised by The Sharrow Vale Community Association

Unfortunately we have now stopped accepting applications for stalls, we've had a great response from businesses from all over Sheffield.

Check out our event page on Facebook, where we'll soon be posting updates of the stalls and attractions confirmed for the day.

It should be a fantastic event, hope to see you there!

They are two separate events - just with similar names :)

The Sharrow Vale Market Day is on the 22nd Nov

There's now less than a week to go!

We now have nearly 40 businesses involved in the event, including a wide range of gift stalls, a selection of great food outlets, a DJ, fairground rides, and stalls selling books, crafts, local ales and a lot more.

It's lining up to be a great day - please tell your friends & neighbours, we look forward to seeing you then!

Been and had a look, I think the cruddy weather took a bit of the shine off it. There weren't as many stalls as I expected there to be. (as I said it was cold and miserable.)

I bought some lovely crystallised ginger chocolates, and an abalone bracelet, but the real treat of the day, for me was finding the Wool Baa open, so I could get the yarn and needles I needed for my next project! :D:clap:

It'd be nice to see more of these type of events, especially when the weather improves.

Hello,

After the success of our last Market Day in November, we're already planning the next one! The date of it will be Sunday 18th April 2010 between 12 and 4pm on Sharrow Vale Road. The Road will be closed between Hunter's Bar roundabout and Cowlishaw Road.

If you own a business and wish to be involved please PM me and I'll get in contact with you with more details.

Thanks!

Tim.

Thanks to all of the people who have contacted me inquiring about spaces at the market.

We're still accepting applications for all types of stalls, and are particularly keen to hear from you if you are wishing to sell crafts/gifts or anything unusual.

Please message me if you wish to know more - include your email address if you'd like an application form.

Thanks,

Tim.
