Kingmaker2 Â Â 10 #37 Posted March 30, 2010 If it turns out that my RAM isn't faulty, is there any way of forcing my PC to use it all and stop this blasted "not responding" stuff? Its really getting on my nerves now. Â The only thing I am certain of is that something is wrong with your PC as 4GB is ample memory for everyday usage, in fact I am only running a 1GB machine and it works pretty solidly with a number of applications running at the same time. The only exception to this is when running CPU intensive task like re encoding video files or burning discs. Â As suggested you might want to start a new thread, with the chance that someone might have experienced the exact same problem as you or indeed has a solution to your problem
 Share this content via...
antec666 Â Â 10 #38 Posted March 30, 2010 I use Eset smart security its pretty awesome but it does a boot scan soon as windows loads so it takes its time to let you do anything even with a high spec pc , when it scans it slows stuff down but i give it 10/10 for being safe
 Share this content via...
