The Manor is a highly-desirable suburb of Sheffield with strong historical connections going back to Queen Elizabeth 1st. It has a wonderful location, overlooking much of central Sheffield and other beautiful vistas.

Incidents have been known to take place on Fridays and Saturdays mainly in the quaint ' boozers ' which are dotted round the estate. These are never really serious and even the police describe them as 'incidents' caused only by the Manor 's lively, but always cheerful youths.

A wonderful spot to put your feet up and relax in the safety of your own little home !

To the OP when they pulled alot of the houses down on the Manor Top to make way for new private houses they moved problem families most to S12 i dont propose to comment on what S12 is like just read the threads on SF. and for the record i would not live on viking lea so cross that of your list

I lived in Maonr a few years ago. I was offered a brand new housing assosiation house. I remmember i used to go and see it to see what stage of building it was at. I noticed the chavs but paid no attention as I loved the house. I watched as the builders laid fresh turf and lovely plants. The day i was moving in as I approached I noticed something had changed.

Well the turf had been nicked as well as the plants, there was a mud trail going all the way down the rd to one of the older houses and yes you guessed it that house had a newly (badly) turfed garden!! They still insisted they hadn't taken it!!

Needless to say i quickly moved on...lol

Well I'll be damned, intelligent chavs, how did they work out that it's green side up? :hihi:
