GQsm   10 #4 Posted January 3, 2013 Not sure on your venue location, but I ate fish and chips from a van run by these guys while I was at a Leeds beer festival.  www.fishand.co.uk/  They have a unique selling point of offering flavour twists in the batter (which I enjoyed) but I guess it would be easier for them to do a plain batter if you liked. Attention to detail and standards seemed good when I bought from them, although they needed more staff to cope with the demand.
