Sounds like you are asking to be ripped off - there's nothing a 'professional' can do that a friendly nerd cant fix for you (apart from taking money off you).

it turned out to be my reader he took it away in the afternoon and returned it the next (price not bad to) he was called the computer doctor

Well i will vouch for Computer Doctor, he did a fine job of my laptop and fast, next day.

I think AOL is your prob. clicking add & remove programs will not get rid of it, there's 101 + hidden file which won't be touched by deleting the program. I recommend phoning AOL and they will talk you through the process. AOL is as bad as Norton anti virus to get shot of.
