hannah, William also can't do weekends, may be we can sort something out between us to meet up in the evenings! I'd like to get the weekend group started innially before I commit to evenings as well (would normally jump at the chance but I'm getting married in 2 weeks so things are a little hectic at the minute), but I will most certainly love to meet with you in a few weeks time : )

Where abouts are you meeting in graves park this saturday?, its rather a big park .Im sorry I cant make it as Delivering duvets / shreaded paper and perhaps other rescue doggie things, but others may be around that way reading this that dont want to commit but may just turn up. - Just a thought - Have a nice time n hope the weather holds for you.

the car park at the main entrance is all I know.............only been there a handful of times. 11am me and oh will be there, noticable by the naughty dogs and the bright green Fiat Bravo : ) looking forward to meeting a few of you and your dogs.

I'd definitely be up for this - my dog really needs some positive socialising. He wants to play with most dogs but the odd one he growls and barks at (usually if it's on the other side of the road and he can't go to play with it!) not too sure I can make this saturday though...

 

Where abouts is the main entrance? (Along which road?) The only one I know of with a car park is the one at the animal farm...

 

Will it be at Graves Park every time or different parks?

fallenangel - We're meeting this Saturday too so long as the weather holds out. (hope all goes well and we might see you ; )

 

Berkana - It is the one at the animal park (thats the only entrance I know), I'm hoping we can meet in different places, go on each others favourite walks ect. I don't think Graves Park and such busy places are going to be the best to work on the dogs as there will be enough for the dogs to get used too without all the added distractions going on, but most people know it to begin with. Also it depends what people want to do!

Hey Becks what time will you be meeting? I dont know how easy it is to get to graves park from mine lol. Can anyone help with directions if i manage to show?

Yeah I thought with Graves being so busy, especially at weekends - plus the livestock - it might not be the best place for my dog at the moment as he's easily distracted (ALL THINGS are amazing and must be thoroughly investigated ). He's on a tracker lead at the moment while I'm retraining him so I won't be able to let him off the lead just yet until I can trust him. I think during one of these meets would be a brilliant time to let him off lead for the first time again as he will stick with the dogs he knows - he only runs off when he sees another dog as he wants to play - unfortunately the other dog doesn't always welcome a little dog running at them full pelt!

 

FallenAngel, will you be coming on the bus? If so you need the number 20 or 20a bus... Did you adopt that little dog from the pound? I was in on Weds (I volunteer there) n he's a sweet thing. He picked up his tennis ball everytime I went by his kennel bless. I think he looks like he's got a bit of bassett hound or similar in him with his long body, short legs and big feet?

Oh my god i never thought basset hound he definately looks it unfortunately we didnt get him as much as i wanted to take him home i couldnt get the money together i only had enough to buy big bag of food, bed, lead, collar and doggy dish heard hes going to a rescue centre i really ont think it'll be long till he gets a home.

 

On plus side we're meeting a doggy tomorrow...my partner fell in love with her cause she reminds him so much of his old doggy Tessa...fingers crossed shes as good as they say...im not saying too much until we've got her or not im a torment like that.

 

i will be coming by bus...where do i catch the 20/20abus from and is it first???
