# On the asymptotic expansion of the q-dilogarithm

@article{Bouzeffour2015OnTA, title={On the asymptotic expansion of the q-dilogarithm}, author={Fethi Bouzeffour and Borhen Halouani}, journal={Advances in Difference Equations}, year={2015}, volume={2016}, pages={1-9} }

In this work, we study some asymptotic expansion of the q-dilogarithm at q=1$q=1$ and q=0$q=0$ by using the Mellin transform and an adequate decomposition allowed by the Lerch functional equation.

The asymptotic limits of Riemann solutions for the isentropic extended Chaplygin gas dynamic system with the vanishing pressure

- MathematicsBoundary Value Problems

We construct the solutions to the Riemann problem for the isentropic extended Chaplygin gas dynamic system for all kinds of situations by the phase plane analysis. We investigate the asymptotic…

Some Asymptotic Formulae for q-Shifted Factorials

- Mathematics
- 1999

The q-shifted factorial defined by (a : qk)n = (1 − a) (1 − aqk)(1 − aq2k)... (1 − aq(n − 1)k) appears in the terms of basic hypergeometric series. Complete asymptotic expansions as q → 1 of some…

Special functions and q-commuting variables

- Mathematics

This paper is mostly a survey, with a few new results. The first part deals with functional equations for q-exponentials, q-binomials and q-logarithms in q-commuting variables and more generally…

Quantum groups and zeta functions

- Physics, Mathematics

A $q$-analogue of the Hurwitz zeta-function is introduced through considerations on the spectral zeta-function of quantum group $SU_{q}(2)$, and its analytic aspects are studied via the…

Abstract. In this paper, we rederive the identity Γ q (x)Γ q (1 −x) = π q sin q (π q x) . Then, we give q-analogue of Gauss’ multiplication formulaand study representation of q-oscillator algebra in…

Notes on the theory of series (XXIV): a curious power-series

- Mathematics
- 1946

1. This note originates from a question put to us by Mr W. R. Dean concerning series of the type where θ is irrational. Series of the type are familiar: it is well known, for example, that may have…

Asymptotics and Mellin-Barnes Integrals

- Mathematics

Asymptotics and Mellin-Barnes Integrals provides an account of the use and properties of a type of complex integral representation that arises frequently in the study of special functions typically…

Dilogarithm identities

We study the dilogarithm identities from algebraic, analytic, asymptotic, $K$-theoretic, combinatorial and representation-theoretic points of view. We prove that a lot of dilogarithm identities…

The volume now gives a somewhat exhaustive account of the various ramifications of the subject, which are set out in an attractive manner and should become indispensable, not only as a textbook for advanced students, but as a work of reference to those whose aim is to extend the knowledge of analysis.
