Taximark   10 #158 Posted May 27, 2010 My only gripes with taxis are a) would it be too much trouble to go knock on the door of the person you're picking up instead of honking your horn?  b) if you're waiting outside someones house turn your bloody engines off especially if its diesel!  The number of times I've been woke up by the above!  Most firms have callback so the days of blasting your horn are about 10 years gone by, also if a driver was to turn his engine off everytime he stopped outside someones house then this would be very uneconomical, yeah if he's gonna be ther for more then 5 10 mins. Stainboy   10 #159 Posted May 28, 2010 My only gripes with taxis are a) would it be too much trouble to go knock on the door of the person you're picking up instead of honking your horn?  If they knock on your door by accident that's gonna be a bigger gripe.  Didn't think they were allowed to honk past 11 tho
 Share this content via...
Stainboy   10 #160 Posted May 28, 2010 I'd guess roughly about £7/8 (I got a taxi from West St to Netto on Middlewood Road last night for £7.50).  That's not bad, I'll save some money by not drinking (can't drink much with my meds and then it won't be a cab taking me home!)
