We had Dalton Roofing do a few jobs on our roof. They provided a quote on the day they came around and it was fully detailed and a competitive price compared to two other quotes.

 

The bad weather and with it being a relatively small job (2 days) meant it was hard to pin them down to a date, and a few promised dates were broken with me having to chase up where they were.

 

However, when they did the work they were excellent. Clean and considerate and worked hard. Didn't need to come in the house and just got on with it.

 

Would definitely recommend them. Done a good job and hopefully stopped a leak.

 

Can also recommend Dalton's. Did our flat roof/balcony when we got flooded out - and helped with our insurance claim too. Very professional but not the cheapest.

I would highly, highly recommend Lee Rodgers (Leepy, S6 handyman). He's reliable and very reasonable. 07946237432 is his number - he fixed our drainpipe last week.

I'd like to recommend electrician Matt Burrell. He's just finished doing a great job fitting me with a new fusebox, light fittings, sockets, spotlights and extractor fan. He was friendly, helpful and I'll be using him again!

I'd also like to recommend Jeff the Joiner who's just fitted me a bunch of new doors which were a real pain to hang as my house has never seen a right angle before! He was a lovely, friendly guy who again offered me great advice and went above and beyond the call of duty! He also recommended a great plasterer Darren who did a great job and was very clean and tidy.

 

These guys were all careful with my cats too and I'll be using them for all future jobs!

We are moving house next month, however its likely that we will be moving out of ours and staying at our parents for 2-3 weeks until our new house is ready to move in to.

 

Therefore, we need a removal company that can move our furniture/boxes out of our 2 bed house but also provide a storage service for 2-3 weeks, before finally bringing everything to our new home.

 

Anyone have any recommendations/advice, etc? It would be great to use the same company for both removal and storage.
