About 6 years ago I had some new windows put in by two lady builders/joiners and an attic conversion. They were first class and I would like them to do some more work but I have lost their contact details. All I remember was one of them was called Sue, they had a golden retriever and lived in Worrall. If anyone knows who I mean please please let me have their contact number again. Thanks.

Just had a whole lot of work done by Whitecliffes builders- replastered walls, new kitchen and floor, electricals, plumbing, attic extended and some joinery. As someone else has said Eric really is the real deal and so are his workmen. Polite, helpful and good at their work. Eric coordinated everything for us- they came when they said they would got on with the job and completed the work on time. At last a really positive experience with a builder!

I would just like to add some comments on a gardener who i use, (STERI) paul, who is very good at his job,very reliable, a good grafter he's also done some painting & decorating for me i use him on a regular basis to cut my lawn & hedges i know other people use him off the forum aswell.

Two recommendations that we've used in the last month or two.

 

Avante Removals were great. Excellent service, good price, friendly, worked really hard and very careful with our stuff.

 

MJB Electricians - Really pleased with work, good price, friendly, treated the house with respect.

Just used a plumber called Oliver Baird (07867 958487). I was very impressed. He was reliable, knowledgeable and informative, and did a good job.

 

Also, my wife was very impressed with him when he came round to look at the problem with our boiler (free of charge) because he immediately showed his ID badge etc through the glass of our front door.

 

He seemed to be very competent all round.

Just been to Sheffield Glass for a piece of glass to replace a broken section in my front door.

Very good service and he ended up cutting 4 pieces for me just incase I broke a few fitting it.

Cheap as well and only took 10 mins.
