Car Valeting Recommendations?

Recommended Posts

Not the ten a penny hand car wash places that jet wash the car down, rub the remaining layer of crap into the paint, spray some nice smelling stuff into the cockpit and send you on your way but proper car valeters who take their time, properly hand wash the car, dry it, machine polish, seal and wax it etc and leave it in better than showroom condition.

I've done a google and looked at the few websites there are, but can anyone recommend any in sheffield from personal experience (or recommend to avoid), preferably mobile?

There's a couple of good mobile ones regularly doing company cars on the estate I work at, in S9. I don't have the names/numbers handy, unfortunately, but I'll keep a lookout.

One is Mo-something-or-other (small blue van, I think it's 'Mo-Clean'), real grafter, and very friendly. The other has a black van with orange and blue lettering, usually doing pretty high-end cars (specialist, or top-dollar Audis).

Both doing sterling work, as far as I can tell (I'm waiting for spring to get both cars 'fully done' by them).

I used RT Valeting (based in Barnsley) and the chap that came was brill. Really friendly and spent about 4 hours on the car. When he has finished it was like a new car! :-)
