Guest   #14 Posted February 10, 2010 Morse. 'Morse' in morse code opens the theme. Barrington Pheloung used to spell out the name of the murderer - along with other characters' names as red herrings - in morse code integrated into the music throughout each episode.  Whichever bod at ITV who advised butchering it to make way for extra ads, then moved on to suggest talking over it, should have been shot.  Love the Midsomer Murders theme too. , complete with theramin. Schiann   10 #20 Posted February 10, 2010 I quite like the theme for "How I Met Your Mother" - short and sweet, while still memorable. I'd love to see more like this.  Also love the intro for "The Big Bang Theory". It's one of the few my husband and I don't fast forward through, and often sing along to.
