Big Godders   10 #1 Posted January 29, 2010 Pretty much as title says? Been doing a bit of mixed training lately and this system is repeatedly referred to. As such I was wondering if anyone specialises in it?  Thanks in advance.
 Share this content via...

jay_kd   10 #4 Posted January 30, 2010 Graig is right to say look for Rick Faye’s book.  Rick Faye is an awesome instructor, for Panantukan, in fact for everything he teaches, I have had the pleasure of training with Rick Faye, a number of times and hosting him in Sheffield, which we will do again.  I take it as a great honor to be called a student and Instructor under Rick Faye for JKD and Filipino Martial Arts.  Mark. Blademan64 Â Â 10 #6 Posted February 5, 2010 I train at Sheffield Martial Arts Centre, and Mark Hayes, teaches quite a bit of panantukan in his classes, we work it on the focus pads and with a partner, Boxing, trapping, guntings, arm wrenching, 3 jab drill and "Hubud" etc, don't think you will find anyone in Sheffield who knows as much panantukan as Mark, even through Mark will say he only knows a little bit. Please correct me if I am wrong. Guntings, they incorporate striking to deaden the tricep muscles if I remember rightly? Forgive me as training with Mark was about 14 years ago!!!
