Dangerous_D Â Â 10 #16 Posted February 10, 2010 Apparently the OP has died. Perhaps it's up to the rest of us to organise it instead. Â Â
 Share this content via...
Spaceghost   10 #17 Posted February 14, 2010 I'm still interested in this. Does anyone know of a good place to get a court? For example I checked Ponds Forge, and it's £9 for 45mins between 3.30pm - 10.15pm (assuming I've read that right!) http://www.ponds-forge.co.uk/casual_use/
 Share this content via...
Nickscape   10 #18 Posted February 15, 2010 I think the single court is just a badminton court. for basketball we would need the full court which they done seem to offer as its used by so many people. To hire half of the sports hall for a half court game would cost £40.. Its going to have to be at one of the less popular sports halls. Spaceghost   10 #19 Posted February 16, 2010 Thought it seemed cheap! I looked at the Concord sports centre too, but seems to be the same price. I don't know of any others, so might need some suggestions if anyone knows of any?
 Share this content via...
Pauls Timoth   10 #20 Posted February 16, 2010 any of the universities available? Meadowhead sports centre? If there's £10 of us, £40 is only £4 per person, which isn't that bad....  ...i'm up for helping to get this organised if you want.... Pauls Timoth   10 #21 Posted March 1, 2010 suggestions (not too sure they have a court though) are;  HSBC Sports & Social Club (DORE) - 0114 260 5681 Wisewood Secondary School - 0114 233 3606 Springs Leisure Centre - 01142 390 880  There's probably a couple more schools that have indoor courts that might be willing to let us use them.  Thoughts?
