sedith   19 #769 Posted July 2, 2012 I've had a few takeaways from Amraj and really enjoyed the food and thought the prices were fair. We went up for their curry buffet a few mondays ago though and it wasn't very nice at all. In total contrast went to the Viraaj buffet in Woodseats a few weeks later which was AMAZING! A couple of years ago we went to the Amraj on New Years Eve with a a few friends. Not impressed at all with the buffet, they kept taking the containers away and warming them up in the microwave ... then had the cheek to charge us £15 odd service charge ... on a buffet???? The food was poor, not like the old Amraj, which was excellent, when it was down in Crystal Peaks near the cinema.
 Share this content via...

ThreePiece   10 #779 Posted July 12, 2012 East and West is a small cafe that also does takeaway. It is pretty good.  I went when a work party of about 12 filled it so we had a bit of a wait. It's very good food and cheap but book if there's more than two of you if they let you.
 Share this content via...
