Did anyone go to Dobcroft youth club in the late 1960's?

We used to go in the early seventies to pull all the posh birds that wanted a bit of rough.

Derek Doman who ran Dobcroft youth club for many years has sadly passed away earlier this month.

I have found some photos of a fancy dress party held at the club. There's a poster on the wall advertising a CA charity walk with the date of the walk...1983.

There's about 50 photos and if anyone wants them you can PM me.

Yes I went late 60's. I'm sure it was twice a week Sundays and Wednesdays. Good times and half way through the night down to the Wagon & Horses for a spot of under age drinking.

I went in the 60,s, came from Woodseats, played football in Millhouses park. Also played five a side in a competition.

I remember a girl called Twizzle.  Did you go to the University on Saturday nights too?

Went there in the 60s.  Remember a lad being told there was a gang waiting for him outside.  Never seem fear like that before or since.  Also used to go to Norton and Crosspool.  Do the kids have such music places now??
