"unexpected item in bagging area"

Recommended Posts

Oh gawd..I'd love to be employed as that person behind one way glass.

"THOSE CONDOMS ARE TO BIG. YOU ARE DELUSIONAL. PLEASE GET SMALLER ONES".

Did better than that.

I worked for a retailer some years ago. Occasionally the cashiers discovered items which were not in the PLU (price look-up) table. They sent me a memo and I amended the table.

I was bored one day and I realised that not only could I add items which were missing, I could also amend items which were there (I couldn't change the name and although I could change the price, I would be held accountable ... but I could change the description.

And that description showed in BIG BRIGHT letters whenever the item was scanned.

One of the products in the PLU table was (originally) TROJAN CONDOMS - ULTRA SENSITIVE.

With a slight amendment, that became: TROJAN CONDOMS - EXTRA SMALL :hihi::hihi::hihi:

I hate the machines in Morrisons they never stop repeating the message, I feel sorry for the person overseeing them.
