Recommendations for NYE events in Sheffield

Recommended Posts

Hi. Just wondering if there is any events going ahead in Sheffield on NYE? Not looking for anything particular but just fancy something different. Been to town for the last 2 years and it's a complete waste of money.

So basically what are you doing for NYE and how comes. Me and the gf are really stuck for ideas as to what to do and where to go as we have seen nothing advertised. Any help is much appreciated.

Cheers

I think, there might be a NYE event at Corporation if you're interested. It's run by the same people that do the Feedback drum and bass nights.

Im been thinking the same thing..really struggling to find anything decent for nye or even just over the xmas period. Mad Hatters Ball at corporation is usually pretty good for new years but there's no headcharge room this year because there's no headcharge! Apart from that I can't find anything..anyone know of anything else or any decent pre-bars/pubs that have got anything on over xmas/new yr. What kind of stuff does Club Pony and SAWA play?

Urban Gorilla is back for a special NYE event upstairs at DQ. We do fancy dress every year and it's always a good laugh, with a great crowd. Music will be mainly house and techno (the less "mainstream" variety).

More info here: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=187226668471&ref=ts

There are still a few early bird tickets left priced at only £5.50 from here
